New Delhi, 14, June 2017 – MDIS is a Singapore’s oldest non-profit educational institution for complete and comprehensive learning, awarded $294,200 in scholarships and bursaries to 424 beneficiaries in the ceremony conducted by MDIS.
MDIS always help the deserve students to fulfill their educational expenses towards higher studies and develop to their fullest potential. MDIS has awarded bursary of $5,000 to 2 recipients to help their family from this year onwards.
MDIS’ first charitable event was held for 800 children from 18 charity homes back in 1983. To date, the institute has disbursed nearly $6 million worth of scholarships.
Sivashunmugam Chandhni won MDIS Post-graduate Merit Scholarship to do M.Sc in Finance who shares "Simply says, it would be 'a professional institute with a heart'. My journey with MDIS has been a wonderful one and I cannot thank the institute’s management and staff enough for the role they have played in shaping my career,"
Indian students interested to do higher education can avail S$2,000 as Student Rebate Fee. International students can utilize this wonderful opportunity. This Rebate fee promotion will end on 30th June 2017 and hence the students should apply for the intakes before 31st December 2017.
MDIS also offers Merit Scholarship to Indian students. For a Master’sDegree, students with good academic track record can win a scholarship of the value $4,000. Moreover, students can avail a scholarship of about S$3,200 if they undergo Bachelor Degree program and S$500 for Pre-Degree Programme.
You can also avail various programs like UG & PG Degree, Diploma programs at MDIS Business School.
Supporting Special Education Needs:
Another key focus for MDIS is helping students and offer them the opportunities according to their interests. Hence, around 36 children and youth students with various disabilities from Special Education Schools can avail benefits from this.
Scholarships and Bursaries for Local and International Recipients:
MDIS awarded other bond-free bursaries to 371 local students from secondary, post-secondary and tertiary levels; and 17 local and international recipients for their pre-degree and degree studies.
